  To tell our story we must start with the story that came before us. In 1977, Dr Peter Schock started at Bellevue Family Medicine where he spent the entirety of his career. The dream was always for his son to take over his practice when the time came for his retirement. As Dr Devin Schock finished his education, moved back to Washington, started a family, and progressed in his career it became clear that an MDVIP-affiliated practice would be a good fit for him both professionally and personally. In 2021 after over 40 years, Dr Peter Schock retired and Dr Devin Schock took over.

Devin Schock, MD very much enjoyed being able to care for his patients in the way he believes medicine should be practiced – compassionately, thoroughly, and excellently. When Bellevue Family Medicine closed, Dr Schock knew he must keep the same, small practice philosophy for his patients and threw himself into starting his own clinic, allowing him to continue the same model that his patients have come to appreciate. Bellevue Legacy Primary Care PLLC will open September 2024. The name pays tribute to our history and the rebranded office is a journey into the future of small practice medicine. We are excited for this transition and hope you enjoy the new practice with the same personalized medicine that our patients have come to love.
